Adam at Geno’s / INTOXICANTS suggested I try this beer. A sixer goes for $18.50 so I had high hopes. I love me a good ESB, prob my favorite drinking style since it is close to a pale ale but not over the top. Not the most carbonated which actually works, not much hop nose, flavor is very malty and sweet. The hops come in at the end a bit, but are hardly noticeable. It is a very warm beer at 7.8% alcohol.

On their site they say it is a scottish ale which makes the naming a bit confusing. It is a darn good example of a scottish actually. Good, but not worth the price at all. I will gladly pay a premium for a Chimay or Rouge, but a Breckenridge brewery beer….. meh….
