Oh man that was a hard pic to get. Theresa whispered “grab that camera and get over here all sneaky like”. This does not happen often.

KT is now drinking from the toilet which is really cute. he uses his paw to see where the water level is and then gets all frustrated when his paw gets wet.

Little bugger is gaining weight like crazy. He was so skinny when we rescued him and tipped the scales at 2.4 pounds. I am sure he is much heavier now. He has many safe spots all around the house and uses them to mess with the dogs. He darts from one to the next while the dogs chase in utter frustration. He loves to taunt the pups. We still put KT in the bedrooms when we are away, but I am sure they all get along fine enough to stop doing that here soon.

He got let out in the back yeard on accident with the pups, did not run away though, just kicked it in the sun. His brother was adopted by the feral children two doors down. That poor cat will prob not live long after seeing how those feral children treat it. I have seen it in a tree, hiding under cars, being carried by its collar, and used to play catch with.

KT’s food dish is up on our plant stand. He loved the jungle of houseplants, but we took them outside and grew some kitty grass that came with his food dish. Figured out it is just barley and wheat, but he likes to nom nom nom on it. We had some marigolds on a table and he was in heaven.

So I already posted this pic, but it is cute.

And then you have the SCS folk who love fake band names who have come up with anteatereater and some wicked cool t shirt designs. Click on them to see them bigger

But that is so cute. They sharing a window. Fuggles and kittythunkle are getting along fine. KT likes to nuzzle Fuggles nose and Fuggles loves to sniff. When they play it gets scary so we are trying to keep rough play down to a minimum. Fuggles is 25 times KT weight and would hate for the little bugger to get smooshed.

Headed to the vet and found out Kittythunkle is a boy. Theresa is fine with the name which is not too gender specific, so Thunkle is his short name. That is two dumb as hell names I have been able to give animals in a row. I rule. Theresa had some girl names, but she is fine calling him kitty. The vet showed me the cat penis, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww……. His balls have not descended yet.
We have slowly gotten him used to the dogs and vice versa. Little bugger does not have cat aids, but has worms. Medicine should take care of it and we have a vial to give in two weeks to kill them good. He is 10 weeks they think so about two months and the boys get cut.

Still not sure why we have a cat, but feel good that we rescued a little guy who would of had a bum life in our neighborhood. Oh the vet clipped the sharp nails and encouraged us to keep up on it. It is amazing how a good clippin neutralized those daggers of doom. We have been playing with his paws to get him used to me messing with them. Sharp claws suck. We do not plan on declawing him even though he will be an indoors cat. It seems to be a bit cruel.

OMG how did one get in the house?

Doing some yard work and enjoying some brews when I saw some kitties. This little bugger had no fear of me and really wanted some attention. Theresa came out and petted it while offering some milk. Little bugger jumped into my arms and I melted. We grabbed the kennel, put it in my room, and slowly introduced the dogs one at a time to her. Fuggles did not know what to think, Maggie was cool with it. We went to the store to get cat stuff and the fun began.

Such a cuddly little cat she is. Her temp name is Kittythunkle. Theresa is gonna come up with a name today. Fuggles is kinda scared of her, and the cat loves thwacking Fuggles on the nose. We kept putting Kitty into her litter box and an hour or so later she used it. That was an easy housebreaking. Kitty slept in my room and curled up next to me and purred the night away till about 6 AM. Then it was pounce on Steve’s feet and jump around everywhere time. She gonna kick it in our bedrooms today since we are not sure all three animals can play nice when we are gone.

I can’t believe I have a cat now.
