The 150 CC is hard. I got fed up and decided to play online. Oh man that is fricking fun. It is fun to play noobs and uber players. You can vote on which track you want to play on or just choose random and the server will select a track. That was the cool part because it went through lots of tracks I do not play often. It was pretty quick and never had any loading problems. When you play real people the sneaky stuff seems to not happen like getting beat up right as you are about to win. I was lapping folks and learning tricks from watching others.

I found playing regional is better than worlwide, cuz the folks around the world are really fricking good. I lost enough to drop below 5000 in the worldwide so I switched back to regional and built my points back up.

Mario kart came out for the wii Sunday and we headed to Best Buy to grab a copy. They had boxes and boxes of them along with 8 wii consoles on a table right in front. We got mario kart and an extra wheel. Took me a bit to learn the tricks, but I was kicking butt right away. Theresa was a bit scared, but by her 3rd race she took first. There are bunches of reviews out there so I will spare ya. Will just say it is pretty fun, but nothing too amazing. A great party game or to get folks to play wii if they have not and have a good time.

we rented pinball hall of fame and I love it. I am a huge pinball fan and this game is the absolute best emulator I have ever played. The graphics are spooky real. Sure the wii does have graphic issues, but the playfield is beautiful. The games are completely accurate down to the little quirks of certian games. Like how the bumpers work with the multiplier lights on the game taxi. I am gonna pick this one up for sure.

This guy is not a fan of pinball, but it is the best vid I could find.

Last we rented Mario and Sonic Olympics. This is your usual wear your arms out shaking them in diff ways kind of game. It follows the mario kart system where you hace to win rounds to unlock more events. Still fun though.

My first bacon of the month package showed up. I am currently sitting on 6 pounds of bacon, so it is going to be quite a while till I get around to testing this. So review to come.

First 100% on GHIII

we were in a hurry so we roasted the chicken on the grill instead of the dutch oven with veg way. I got creative and jammed some aromatic veg in the cavity. Did not do much though really.

Just zoned out on the couch trying to get higher scores on songs I had already beaten till late into the morning. I finally look at the clock and see it is 3 AM. Just a few more songs…… That would be my Friday and Saturday nights (lame). Then the GH dreams. Red, red, green, green, green, yellow, green… It was haunting me. I found myself listening to music going red, red, yellow,…. it was kinda spooky. Really strange was reading the paper in the morning I kept a beat going with each word, hard to explain but it finallt sunk in how that game was corrupting me.

I set the controller down and did not touch it Sunday.

SO Scott hooked me up with guitar hero for the wii as a gift for helping move him and he used to work for activision. I messed with it a bit last night and I an not very good. Apparently my hands do not communicate very well and dexterity is not in my genetic code. I am figuring my 5 year old nephew is gonna slay me when he gets to play it. I need to practice up and hopefully Theresa will be my groupie.

Valve’s acclaimed puzzle-action hybrid Portal will be given a sequel, according to the game’s lead designer Kimberly Swift.

“Well, I believe Doug Lombardi who is our lead marketing director at Valve, has announced Portal 2,” said Swift in an interview with G4TV.

Portal is just too fun. You can play it for free if you download steam. I am scared of what a sequel would be like though.

In the box art for Super Mario Galaxy, stars highlighting certain letters in the title spell out: U R MR GAY. The stars, which are attached to specific letters, are part of the original official art (from Nintendo’s press site); we manipulated the image’s color scale above to emphasize the stars and corresponding letters, but did not alter the image otherwise.

In other news: I finally got the 120th star last night. It was awesome. I can now go back through as Luigi and Theresa is gonna help me on the easier stars.
