I simply had to get it. 500 wiiware points ($5) I had to do a system update to be able to access the wiiware store. I was afraid it would mess up my loader, but had to get the game. It did mess up my loader and I spent two days getting it set back up. Was having network issues, so I ended up just putting the wad files on the SD card.

It is a simple game to play, but I still have not made it past the 2nd level. It moves really fast and is not the most responsive. Wears my arms out as well. Worth $5 for sure.

Dragon’s Lair is now available on the iphone $4.99. i was never any good at the game. My brother ruled at it though. He even got to play it on the big screen at Showbiz during a tournament. Can’t remember if he won something or not. Found a walkthrough for it, and apparently it is a good recreation according to the KLOV folks.

Currently in the 2nd world and beat the first castle there so I can keep going. Game is crazy hard. i agree with folks who complain that it is lame you cannot use the classic controller. The wiimote sideways tears up your thumb and is not all that responsive. Awesome game though.

We rented the new Super Mario Wii last night and it is a hoot. Pretty darn tough, and the multiplayer makes it a bit hard. Still very worth picking up if you ask me. We have only made it to 1-4 so far.

On the subject of games. I almost got a new arcade machine Thursday. Theresa talked some sense into me. We are still trying to sell the TV and I put in the description that I would consider a trade for a pinball or and arcade machine. A guy offered an Atari Kangaroo game plus some cash and I figured it would be a good trade. The game is pretty old and kind of lame. Theresa would like to get money for the TV because we want to use said cash to get a new TV in her room. I offered to put $200 into the new TV fund in exchange of me getting a new game. It all came down to my limited space and saving my money for a pinball I really want and would play often. I completely agree.

My Bride of Pinbot is currently not working. I fried a transistor. Amos said he will help me swap that out and it should be working. I have a ton of new parts for the pinball machines and will post about that stuff later. They are going to totally kick butt here soon.

Theresa is loving this game and I have been laughing my butt off. This is the 4th rabbid game and this one is not a party game like the others. This is a destroy everything while racing around. The rabbids think the moon is their home and make a plan to collect crap and build a pile to get there. Pretty much anything can be smashed to collect stuff, even people. When you whack people it strips them of their clothes and a 6 pack of soda as well. You smack dogs too. The game just goes and goes on forever. There are many different modes or ways to race or run around so it does not get all that boring, and the silliness of it makes it enjoyable.

I have been messing with this the past week and currently am just using visual pinball, but the games are really well done. Some look so realistic it is freaky. Downloaded a bunch of tables last night and played late into the morning. Best part is it is free and there are hundreds of tables. I am just playing on my PC, but it will get on my MAME cabinet here soon. Nothing like what is in that vid above, but still have the games.

It is a bit of a pain to install. I was cussing for a couple days there. The link above has an install guide and I finally followed it and now it plays well.

Skeeball is #1 on the top 25 list right now and pretty fun

The deep pinball game is well done. Played on a roadtrip and one game lasted me a good 10 minutes.

Just picked this arcade game from a friend at one heck of a price. It was in another friends basement and both just wanted it gone. It is not the original cabinet, it is a cabinet that was converted with a new board to this machine and then the artwork applied to it. My buddy is going to get me the board for the orig game as well and the manuals. He forgot the name of the other game, so that will be a surprise. Eventually I hope to convert it into a MAME so it will play bunches of games. Not sure if I am going to go with a new board with bunches of games or throw a PC in there. Still it is a fun game and the board inside is in perfect shape.

After doing some research last night I think I might keep this one how it is and then get another cabinet and convert that one to a MAME. Was thinking of getting a multigame board like this, but that would include turning the monitor, which I am not even sure is possible. I do have a vertical minitor in the cabinet in the garage so that might work.
