So 3 + weeks and Theresa and I finally have 141 of the 142 stars on Super Mario Galaxy 2. It has been so much fun. After 110 stars it got really hard and I ended up getting the last 10 to 120 where the green stars come available. The green stars are absolutely amazing and such a nice change. Even some of the hardest levels had the easiest green stars. But, a few were absolutely insane. Instead of being harder, they are just fun.
Anyways, this vid shows the hardest star in the whole game. This guy does it in record speed. You only get one life and there are no save flags. It is pretty much impossible. The trickiest parts of SMG is all of the controls. This guy is a master. I will have help, unlike him, but it is going to take so many lives. I did not even try tonight. I will go through the first level a bunch to learn it with 3 lives and save flags before I even attempt.
I will complete this game even if it takes me weeks.
Wilters recommended angry birds. It is pretty fun. Seems there are a ton of levels.
Fixpix is strange and looks great. You just tilt your phone around to fix the pixel pics. Some are kind of tough.
The first one is simply an amazing game. Theresa and I take turns playing levels and we had been playing for the last month nightly to get ready for the new one to come out.
SMG2 is pretty much an extention of the first, but with lots of little tweaks. Besides the new suits and levels, the gameplay is a bit more fun. Your home is now a Mario head spaceship made to look like a planet. That is how you travel to new worlds. It is really easy to get to any level and you do not have to do all of the running around like you did on the observatory on the first SMG. Yoshi is a fun new twist. His tongue and movements add even more complexity to getting around.
We spent so many hours on the first game and it is a great way for Theresa and I to hang out together. SMG2 seems a bit like an expansion pack, but it still has 241 levels like the first and is a new adventure. Grab it if you liked the first.
Vouyer sent this in. Got a few emails about it too. Google home page has a working pacman google logo. If you insert another credit Mrs. pacman shows up and can be controlled by WASD. Pretty cool.
Sharkbird said I should get this game. It is pretty cool, funny, and fun. It is a two stick game like robotron and you get to kill lots of little evil things.
World of goo is amazing and worth whatever you are willing to pay. Works on mac, PC, or linux.
The cloud suit looks awesome. The orig one is such an amazing game. I was 2 stars away from completing it. This one looks even harder.
