I have basicaly two of the same machines. One is one notch below in processor power, but I put it to good use.
I set up the older one to be an ubuntu machine that mainly does two things. It is a RAID 5 share of 600gb. It also hosts vmware’s free server software. I have a virtual XP machine for when I really have to use winders.
My main PC is a heavily modified compaq. It sees linux in all of its glory 99% of the time. Man I love linux.
Basically I never have to boot into my winders partition unleess I want to kill aliens. I must say it feels good.
