Made it to the 9 mile hut last night. Just a few miles short of Eagle

Headed out with the Minks brothers on the mopac trail last night. There was no wind at all so it was easy going. Hit the hut for a break and decided to head back into town. The trail is kinda downhill heading into Lincoln so we were going along at a very fast pace. By the time we hit the paved trail in town it was turning into a race between us. I bet a few of the folk were a bit bummed to hear the fast approaching bells and “on your left”. Will try to slow it down a bit next time.
The legs are getting used to the rides, the lungs on the other hand need some work. Gonna head out again wed night.
