So the window in the kitchen over the counter was shortened so it does not go below the counter. Since we will be doing siding soon a quick fix was enough for now. I will work on getting an outlet under the counter for the microwave and toaster oven. Then insulate and drywall the area. Theresa wants to tile it, which is fine with me.
First night with the windows was amazing. Once the AC caught up it took a long time to kick back on. I spent a lot of time just playing with them. Before only some of our windows opened. The ones that opened needed to be propped up by stuff to stay open. When the sun shined through the old windows you could feel the warmth, now you do not. It is pretty crazy how window tech has advanced in 105 years 😉
Today they are sealing and trimming it all up. The guys do great work and fast. They had all the windows in and cleaned it all up before 1 PM yesterday.
