Our counter space in the kitchen is pitiful. We have wanted to get a kitchen island for a while. Talked to some peeps about making one and then searching stores to get an idea of what is out there. The black friday ad from JC penny caught our eye and we headed out to the mall while folks were watching the football to pick one up. Pretty sturdy and almost doubles our counter space. We can both be in the kitchen doing stuff now.
