Theresa and I celebrated out 14th anniversary of being together by having some fun in Lincoln. Started the day with a visit to the egg & I. There was a 25 minute wait but it it seemed shorter. I got corned beef hash and Theresa went for french toast. We added some skillet fries to share. My hash was very tasty. It seemed it was made there and the corned beef shined through. The seasoning was perfect and I did not add any salt or pepper. Theresa enjoyed her french toast. The skillet fries were OK as well.
Although it is a new place, they really have the service down. Our server was very knowledgeable and efficient. You get the whole pot of coffee, and my iced tea came with a caraffe of extra tea. Our food was delivered by other staff and arrived very fast. Theresa said it was like a fancy village Inn, but no green gateau. I would agree.
