MenEssentials sent me a bottle of Portland Beard Company Urban Beard Oil to review and I have been loving it. I am a couple years bearded and have been playing with beard treatments from balms, waxes, and oils with great results. As you can tell, I spend my time researching beard oil reviews. I love the control, shine, and manageability that beard products provide me over going just natural.
The Portland Beard Company Urban Beard Oil comes in a beautifully designed 1 ounce glass dripper bottle that had a bottle collar info tag. The oil contains argan oil and other natural oils to moisturize your beard and skin. The Urban version of their oils is unscented with the argan oil being the really only faintly noticeable scent. Argan oil is used for many purposes from culinary to cosmetic.
I let my beard rest and be cleaned as I normally do for a couple days without any product and then used the oil for a few days and really enjoyed the results. It provides a bit of shine and softness I expected. I was able to easily control straggly hairs and never had any issues with unpleasant scent or frays throughout the days I used it. It is a quality product I am going to use daily for the foreseeable future.
I am more comfortable with unscented products for all my hairs, but might check out some of the scented oils that Portland Beard Company sells through MenEssentials that have great reviews. Their Timber seems to be a favorite from reviews I have read.

My Dad was a strong man, he always had a beard, carried a hammer and could build a motor in his sleep…he never used product in his beard. Like the following article I link to I always equated beards to strong and tough men, that isn’t so today. I think people like my Dad would laugh at the though of all these guys using product in their beards today. I’m not trying to bash or be a jerk to you, I’m just tired of the beard crap…hell beards went out of style on the coasts 2 years ago.

Mens essential way of growing beards. A very helpful post indeed! Its a trend set now a days to grow beards. Amazing styling and variety of products to use. I like beardilizer the most.
