Theresa saw this at BB&B and picked it up. I trim Maggies and Thunks nails, but Maggie has some huge ones and I do not do it enough. Figured this would be perfect. These is another brand called peticure that does the same thing. Not sure if the peticure one is better, but the pedi paws one is a complete hunk of crap.
It is a really weak motor with no torque and a sandpaper wheel. I tried it out on Maggie and it just stops when you push a nail on it. I read the instructions and it says to apply very light pressure for only 2 seconds at a time. It really did nothing at all. If you tried really hard you could trim one nail in around 5 minutes. There is no torque or gearing. Even Thunks tiny nails stopped the thing from spinning with minimal pressure. To prove how lame it was I tried to grind my finger, not the nail, my finger, and it just stopped the wheel.
A bit of googling and it seems many other folks think it is a POS as well. Many say they just use an actual dremmel, especially folks who show their dogs.
