Lemonhead & Friends Tart & Sweet Conversation Hearts caught my eye at Hy Vee. I am a sucker for Lemonheads, but not a big fan of the chalky conversation hearts. I gave Lemonhead the benefit of the doubt for being able to pull it off and bought a bag.

The hearts are a bit larger than normal, they have sprayed onn words instead of stamped, and have just a bit softer texture than normal hearts. The first bite you get that chalky texture and worry you have made a huge mistake, but a second later you get the flavor rush and it is sour. I get the feeling that it is made up of crushed and dried Lemonheads. They did them up great and I will grab another bag if I see one.
