This is an exciting time to be living in Lincoln. Our community is experiencing wonderful growth and many more people are discovering what makes this city great. It’s time to let this Midwest secret out and showcase all the things that Lincoln has to offer.
Hear Lincoln is a new event made possible by the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Hear Nebraska to showcase the vibrant music scene right here in our city. On each Friday, through Aug. 31, a Lincoln band will perform during the lunch hour from 12-1 p.m. on the corner of 13th and O in front of the Wells Fargo building.
This week, Lincoln’s beloved indie folk band Kill County (minus Ringo) will sing you songs about trains, whiskey, lonesomeness and good buddies. Watch them perform a gorgeous song in this live video: http://youtu.be/-2UnFbo12-4
This band has a devoted following in Lincoln (and a new record set to come out), so grab a bite to eat and join us Friday for something that you’ve never before seen on a Lincoln sidewalk.
