After a good month of living in a construction zone it is finally done. A darn decent Frigidaire 5 burner range, 36 inch Broan hood, and killer tile back splash by Theresa and we are finally in kitchen heaven. The main kitchen remodel was back in 2011, but knew there was so much more to be done. The wood floor will be the final step, but that is a year or so off.

The gas range learning curve is fun. 3 great meals so far. That hood sucks insane. Getting that in was such an adventure. Just the electrical was an insane adventure. It is so weatherproofed and sucks insane. I deep fried and grilled some wings for lunch. The gas oven is a true convection with convect convert and is going to be a challenge to learn, but we look forward to hosting TG for her family. Learning how to use it all will be fun.

All 5 of the gas burners have diff BTU and it is taking some time to get used to them. I sorta thought gas would be a bit more powerful, but I enjoy the control they provide. I picked up some fish, made wings, some deep fried potato chips, pan fried burgers, and picked up a new 10 inch lodge skillet. The hood blows out the house like a bouncy castle filler. When I shut down the fan I hear the outside flange snap close and then the hood flange shuts. It is like a symphony to my ears.
