That a pile of cedar which will replace my scary steps that lead up on to my porch. The ones there currently are really messed up. You can kinda see how they are not all the same height in the pic below. There is no railing, the support in back is held up with concrete blocks and 2X4’s. In winter they ice up really bad cuz moisture pools on them and the carpet holds water well.
The friend I helped move back from LA is going to build the new steps for me as a thank you. We still going to kick down some $ for his hard work.
