Human footprint show on National Geographic

I was pretty stoked to watch this show. We DVR’d it and watched it last night.
First I am not an environmental whacko, I just wanted to see how much an average person consumes in a life time.
They were not too preachy, but it was a really long and drawn out show that continued to focus on how much America consumes as a whole too many times, instead of focusing on what the damn show was about. A single persons human footprint on this earth. The scenes where they start in close and pan out to a sky view of stuff was only cool the first time. They milked it every time and we found ourselves fast forwarding through those scenes. Then constant rehashing of those scenes over and over. The entire show could of easily filled an hour, not the two they stretched it out for.
