A grapple is a unholy hybrid of grapes and apples. It is not a genetic wonder though. It is a fuji apple that has been dipped in a concentrated grape solution. I did not know that until I brought them home and looked it up. They even have a video showing the process on their site. The smell is super grape and the flavor has a grape twang when you first bite into it. The apple itself was super juicy and sweet. It was interesting, but not worth $5 for 4 of them.
