Rocked out this morning and took some personal time to take care of a few things. My new processor was on the porch and WOW. Huge jump and it is dual core. Linux runs really nice with my process intensive apps. But in windows while playing games the difference is night and day.
I made it through portal and hl2 with every setting on the lowest and had to deal with stutters with the old CPU. I can now set everything to the highest and it seems like a new game.
