So I rebuilt my GF sugar a while back and have been riding it to work every day. Actually I ride it more than my moots lately. The thing is such a joy to ride being all black, light, and single speeded. But for the last month or so it has been really noisy. Every time I pedal it was like it was falling apart. I tightened and lubed stuff, nothing would make it stop. Last night I was determined to figure out what it was.
Found it. The bolts that held the rear suspension linkage were so loose I could spin them by hand. The ride in this morning was strange cuz it was so quiet. I love enjoying the morning air and watching folks stuck at a red light in their car all pissy as I ride by with a permagrin.
