CAT | Lincoln Shops/Food

FB Event page

Curio Collective will be closing 2/23/13. Local and Non-Local items up to 50% off and some fixtures are for sale as well. Now is a great time to do some early gift shopping! Toys, books, games, hats, kitchen, bar, candles, jewelry, incense, and garden. Time is running out!

Thank you for all of your support! We are grateful to our customers and the artisans and crafters who allowed us to showcase their art. We have promoted 122 local artists within our walls and are proud of what we accomplished!

We’ll still be at No Coast Derby bouts and festivals, so come say “HI”. Our website will transform into a local connecting point for our artisans. Follow us on Facebook for more as we transform online!

Bummer such a great shop is closing, but I am very glad I got to know them. Thanks Linda and Mike for all you do.

I am not sure how much more lidocaine I can take though. I put off dental care after losing insurance, refusing it, and then waiting for it to fully kick in… I was in trouble. Cracked tooth, cavities, periodontal issues, and the most painful tooth fixed with a root canal. Coddington dental has done me up right though. I still need the 2nd part of the root canal and a crown to go before I even address the cavities. Burned through all my dental insurance in less than a month, and it will be out of pocket cost is going to hurt till next July. Still very happy to have it done. I look forward to chewing food on the right side of my mouth sometime before the end of the year.

This Friday will be magic

Raising Cane’s opens their downtown store at 14th and P Friday morning. There is a good reason to go on their FB page. I have told Theresa for months now that she will start having to make her own food more often because I will be eating Raising Cane’s for all 3 meals for the rest of my life. She keeps rolling her eyes and does not believe me at all. The weekend will be interesting 😉

Way easier than figuring out a costume…. or enhancing your costume with ease. Funtastic Faces does a great job.

Event page

Stop by Curio Collective on Halloween! Not only will we have treats for “Trick or Treaters”, but we will have Sas from Funtastic Faces doing some custom facepainting creations inspired by your costume!

Get a full makeover or a festive design from glamour to gore. All ages welcome. Prices ranging from $5-$15. She is Disney trained and has over 11 years of experience. YOU’LL LOVE YOUR FACE!!! Sas will be in the shop on Halloween Day from 12pm-5pm.

Plus, come in dressed up and let us take your photo for our Halloween Costume Contest! We will upload your photos onto our facebook page and start taking “best costume” votes (determined by most “likes” on the photos). Winner gets a $50 gift certificate to Curio Collective!

we got pedicures

I wanted to surprise Theresa and got one myself. She takes great care of her nails and I do not. i felt bad having the lady work on my toes, but she did not mind and said it happens all the time and made quick work of it. They put stuff in the water, massaged, worked the cuticles, rubbed orange slices on my legs for some reason, and i want one of those massage chairs now. The work they did was simply amazing and I could still feel it the next day. I put on some new socks and totally has happy feet. For $18 i would do again for sure. It was the one on 17th and South next to Brewsky’s
