Some friends came over Friday eve and we enjoyed drunken wii boxing, drunken pinball, and drunken carbonated Jager shots. Jager has a lot of sugar in it so I got the foamy goodness when I released the carbonator. Had to let the bubbles settle before I completely released all the pressure. Carbonated jager is darn good.
So I got the carbonator and hard liquor was suggested often so here we go. Picked up some smirnof, poured some in a 20 oz bottle, attached the hose and shook for about a minute. This was room temp and there is no sugar or protein in vodka so no foam, but I could hear the CO2 flowing in so poured a shot. It bubbled really hard when poured in the shot glass and sparkled a bit after. The moment it hit my tongue it sploded the CO2 out and tingled good. It was really carbonated. The flavor of the CO2 overpowered the vodka and I could only taste the vodka till after swallowing. Interesting for sure.

MillerCoors ends production of Zima
MillerCoors LLC says goodbye to Zima.
The joint venture between SABMiller’s U.S. unit and Molson Coors Brewing Co. told distributors in a letter Monday that production of the malt liquor beverage was discontinued as of Oct. 10.
Chief Marketing Officer Andy England says the decision was due to weakness in the “malternative” segment and declining consumer interest.
He says distributors can get remaining Zima inventories most likely through December.
Distributors are being asked to put products from caffeinated alcoholic beverage Sparks on retail store shelves to make up for Zima’s absence.
The brand came to the joint venture from Molson Coors, maker of Coors Light and Keystone.

Droped by Geno‘s to get some adult beverages and Adam gave me a good welcome. “Where have you been?” He dared me to suck down a single of Cracker Barrel pure maple syrup and said he would buy me a shot of tequila to do it. I took the bet. Syrup does not just flow so I tossed it back and let it slowly drip into my gullet while folks came in. From the bits I could see the customers were looking at me strange and Adam was grinning. Swallowed it down and basked in the glory. Was it worth a free shot of tequila? I would of done it for free

Trixie over on SCS posted this and wow does it look cool.
If you look at a package of skittles, you’ll notice that besides sugar and flavoring there’s also some lovely filler (this is that white stuff that will end up floating on top). This filler is pretty horrible and generally not tasty, so it needs to be filtered out before the drinking can commence.

The Liquor Commission Control currently offers an online payment system for license renewals and tax payments. A spirits and wine online reporting system for distributors is currently in development.

Lil Jon to have his own winery
Lil Jon acknowledges that he’s no wine connoisseur. “I’m not no `drink wine every day’ kind of dude,” he said in a telephone interview. “I’m not like an expert, so don’t ask me no questions … I just like the taste.”
