Michela could see right away his left eye was funny, swollen like a bee sting. They took him to doctor after doctor before they got the diagnosis – a long title for a tumor that is strangling the optic nerve. A tumor that will keep growing and growing, deforming his face and stealing his sight.
Some doctors told them nothing could be done. Michela wouldn’t give up.

That’s why they left for New York. After two surgeries this week, they’ll return in the weeks and months that follow to monitor Brogan’s progress.
