The never ending yearly battle is still going for more than a decade. I shall put up a good fight this year. Not really sure why that huge area was so destroyed over winter. Crab grass maybe? Talked to a grass seed scientist at home depot and he said Scotts sun and shade mix would be my best bet. Something has to stick he said. I so kept my receipt and hope I do not have to pang on his door someday.
