9 south chargrill is good


We headed to the south street market to see Loup River Band and then headed to 9 south chargrill for some grub. We split a burger back when it opened and I have been wanting to head back for a long time. Thing is we hardly eat out anymore and when we do it is usually something quick. They are still waiting on their liquor license, but the food is the real reason to go there.

I went with the Monteray Chicken sammich. “Chicken breast smothered in Jack cheese topped with bacon and guacamole”. It was marinated in some awesome stuff and the guaq was blended up and added a cooling flavor to the sammich. The round bacon disk was strange and thin, but added just enough flavor. I was very impressed. The fries are the coated ones and the onion rings were breaded with panko and were huge, they were awesome. Theresa hat the Chicken Tortellini “Grilled chicken with tortellini tossed in garlic Asiago sauce”. it was good as well. Should of came with a bread of some sort, but it was good. The portion was just right. I will be enjoying it for leftovers for lunch today.

They are going to be opening a location where great wraps was on O street (14th and O) here soon. Theresa is down with trying a burger there again and I will get something else cool off their menu.
