I mean I dont want to tell you how to run your website but suppose you added a headline that grabbed peoples attention? I mean BLOG_TITLE is a little vanilla. You could glance at Yahoos front page and see how they write news titles to get people interested. You might add a related video or a picture or two to grab readers interested about everythingve got to say. In my opinion it would bring your posts a little livelier.
