Phase 1 of robofuggles is complete, she got a chip. Bottle opener is next

Thunks is going outside with the pups a few times a day now. He plays and has fun. He knows he has it good so we are not too worried. Coming in when called still needs a bit of work. Thunks is current on all his shots for a year. he makes really strange noises at the vet. Asked the vet how big he is gonna get. She said he has a small head so 10 pounds prob. Said if they have a big wide head when small they will turn out to be large cats.

The Jamaica north trail paving is going pretty good. They have a few blocks done and Theresa joined Fuggles and I for a test ride on the trail. It was fun.

Theresa makes doggie soup that supplements their dinner. Well now Thunks is getting kitty soup too. He likes it so much that he hardly eats his dry food breakfast.

Diane Bailey said Jake isn’t usually the smartest dog.

“He doesn’t listen. He doesn’t mind,” she said.

“Sometimes he can act real hyper and weird,” said Tony. “He’ll pick up rocks and think they’re balls and wants you to throw them to him.”

It is done and he is resting. We can pick him up after work. I am kinda hoping he gets a cone cuz they are so funny, but we will take special care of him till he heals. Fuggles, you need to play nice for a week OK?

We have never chipped a pet before. Fuggles needs a heartworm check and we will get her chipped as well. Maggie is a grumpy old fart and does not wonder off too often so we might pass on her. Can you feel it under their skin?

One of the owners of the two boxers who had the litter Cash was a part of works at the vet Cash was operated on at. They allowed her to bring Cash in under her name. The docs had repaired the worst arm and were working on the second when she passed. The owners of the vet clinic severely reduced the bill to just under $700. That bill includes materials, cremation, and the doctors time. We go to the same vet and are pretty proud of them. Cash is gonna be cremated and her owner is gonna take a bit of a break from having a dog. Loosing two in under two months is hard.

Cash passed during surgery. The shattered elbow required much more work than they expected. After 2 + hours of surgery she succumbed. It is a bit hard for the owner who got Cash the day after he put his last dog down. Just got off the phone with Brandon and he is pretty sad as well. I put the donate button back up just in case others want to assist.

The billing has not been settled yet. There are a few issues to sort out. The owner is very grateful for the amazing amount of donations from strangers and dog lovers. We went through a pricey unsuccessful surgery with Cloe and the combined cost and grief really hurts. Your support really helped. Thanks once again.

Oddly enough we spread some of Cloe’s ashes yesterday evening out in wilderness park. A small section I call my church now has a trail of her ashes in a path as if she was running through it just like she used to do. We brought a berry doggie muffin Theresa baked and left it out there for her to let the deer nom nom nom on. It was a sad and happy time.

Just got the news. At least they tried to save the little puppy.
It was simply astounding how you guys pitched in to help on this.
Not sure if there is a vet bill, but I bet there will be.

Cash is going to be getting some expensive surgery. The owner is a college student and the bill for surgery is gonna run pretty high. I set up a paypal donations page and just throwing it out there for ya if you feel like chipping in a few bones (tee he he, dogs, bones, get it? oh nevermind).

It has been about a year since we had to completely move the roll from her reach. While she was not looking I screwed the TP dispenser back on the wall and loaded up a fresh roll. That was no easy task, she loves keeping those in the bathroom company. If I closed the door she would of known something was up.

We got pretty used to keeping the TP up on the shelf, butt (he he) it was annoying. She is pretty much past the puppy chewing stage, well besides she got my last Jager hat and Theresa’s slippers last week. OK maybe she is not past that stage yet.
