Slovak Man Saved By Beer.

There was a Slovak man who got himself stuck inside his car in an avalanche, and he was unable to dig a way out because of the snowing.
Apparently, he got a great idea while relaxing with a beer.

He had 60 half-litre bottles of beer in his car as he was going on holiday, and after cracking one open to think about the problem he realised he could urinate on the snow to melt it, local media reported.

It is a good article. One with great morals.

Open Source Cola

open_cola.jpgSome canadian guys have started making Open Souce Cola, which, in contrast to Coca Cola, has a recipe that is free for anyone to develop according to their liking. The Open Cola is released under the GNU General Public License.

Together with the free beer (free as in freedom, not as in free beer), this brings us two steps closer to freedom.

To Create a GNU/Linux distribution that is focused on providing reliable clinical laboratory and medical practice software.

It also states that The Aims of the Linux For Clinics Project is

The Linux For Clinics (LFC) Project consists of a team of people who have a common interest in health, medicine, humanity and free and open source software (FOSS). Our team represents a community that shares the common ideals of aiding mankind and treating everyone with respect so that they will treat others in kind. This philosophy is represented by the African word ‘UBUNTU’ which means ‘Humanity Towards Others’.

I dont know about you, but I’d (Doddo) sure like to be hospitalized where they run this ubuntu fork.
