Just can’t get enough freezy pops and saw Walgreens had a new brand and I picked up a box. Got home and popped them in the freezer and wondered if they would actually be slushy when frozen and they were. Theresa freaked out and I picked up some more. They are the perfect slush and not solid. Nom
Seems Jel Sert makes all the freezy pops you can find. I picked up a 100 pack of flavor ice and they make those as well. Much cheaper that the ones from Walgreens too.
I have talked about the furminator here before and once again I need to sing its praises. Nothing else comes close to working as good. Pic was just a few minutes in and look at all that fur. Thunky got a good once over too and it made a big difference. Maggie gets so sad cuz she does not get furminated so I did a couple passes on her to make her happy. Does nothing for animals without a undercoat though.
A week after separating my shoulder i am back on the bike. What a strange injury. Doc said I could ride my bike the day I saw him if I wanted, but there was so much pain, oh man it hurt. So I am healing from an injury that will never heal, which is strange. Friend described it like dropping a bone in ham 5 feet and watching the damage. The pain was bad the first few days. Any movement had sharp pains and there was a constant dead pain.
This weekend it was getting much better and I got a new Rx. I started doing some movement of the arm. Would support it with my other hand and just do stretches in all sorts of directions. It really made a huge difference. I can pretty much raise my arm without any help now. The sharp pain is gone and I can even lift stuff. Basically doing my own PT and felt good enough to ride to work and home for lunch.
My boss is at the doc now setting things up for surgery to repair his separated shoulder. He separated his years ago and is still very active in riding and racing dirtbikes and is tired of the injury limiting him. He said it just gets worse with time. Ewwwwwwww…….
I had to try these and found them down at Rocket Fizz. They were horrific. I did not crunch down on it, just let is rape my tongue for about 10 seconds. Blech……
Like cracking the lid off heaven and sniffing. Birch is so close to root beer most peeps would never know a difference. Kutztown absolutely slays with this birch beer. So creamy and strong. There is yucca in it to help the head and man it is rich in flavor. My fave from Rocket Fizz so far.
Alton Brown did an episode on meatballs and we swooned over the Swedish meatballs and wanted to try it. Figured it was beef in a gravy on noodles so eeeeeeee
Well they were really strange. Really soft and just strange. I think it was the pork. Theresa somehow grabed pork side, which is what bacon comes from and I think it was not the best. Plus we ground up a lot of fat and prob did not need too. Maybe it was the bread, but it just did not seem right. Next time just beef.
