So a while back I think I titled a funny pix post with the story of how Thunky Lou had learned how to get out bi fold pantry doors open and gorged on cat food. I looked at the options that are sold to lock a bi fold door and they all seemed lame. Most of them are just a piece of plastic that goes over the top of the door and you slide it to the side when you want to open it. I though that was lame. Asked about it on the forum and did not get much feedback. I figured a slide lock would work and headed to the hardware store to ask them and find a good lock. Tried a couple diff locks and had no luck with them.

I was just standing in the kitchen one evening staring at the door. We had a heavy typewriter case set against it to keep it shut. Figured a piece of wood screwed to the floor would work, or maybe adjust the door so it sat lower, both to keep his arms from getting under the door to pull it open. I noticed it kinda snaps against the door frame and that holds it in place. Grabbed some sticky foam tape and left the backing on so now the door pushes into the foam and it holds it much more securely. Thunky does not have enough power to open it now and we do not have to fidget with a lock to grab some crisps. eeeeeee…….

The above review is very honest and shows what you can do. We picked the game up last night and an extra motion plus. The extra motion plus was $20 so it was a bit of an investment to get the game and an extra motion plus. The games are fun and the motion plus is scary accurate. Some games are lame, but others are really cool.

* Archery is really neat, but they could of added more levels to make it even cooler. I would buy an archery game it is that cool.
* Frisbee golf is pretty cool. Even Theresa was playing it (don’t tell her it is still golf) The goal is a large three ringed circle and it shines up in the air like a spot light so you can be way over the target and still hit it. I got a hole in one last night.
* The bowling is pretty much the same, but it is more sensitive to spins. The 100 pin lane is really cool. You do not build up to the 100, it is 10 frames of 100.
* power cruising (jet ski) is fun too

The rest are meh to downright annoying. We will play it a bunch I bet and feel it is worth it because you get a motion plus with the game. So for a 30 dollar game it is worth it.

So heading up to Omaha for a grub down and shopping fiesta. I have been craving some Omaha grub and Theresa needs some new work clothes. Asked over on the forum for suggestions and thought here might work too.

Theresa really wants to go shopping for clothes. She likes to stay young and hip looking, but professional enough for work. In lincoln she hits up New York n Co, Eddie Bauer, Maurices, and Express. Any of you omahaians know of some cool places she should visit? Not looking for spensy designer stuff though. Also which mall we should go to.

Places we plan on hitting:
Dinkers for lunch burgers
Westroads
regency court or Village Point for WH | BM (lady clothes)
cupcake island
Penzey’s
McKennas to get some to go BBQ. (possibly)
brewburgers or dixie quicks for dinner

Lancaster County District Judge Karen Flowers on Tuesday sentenced him to six to 10 years in prison and gave him credit for 285 days he’s served.

Police say that at about 9 p.m. Oct. 16, Muniz got out of a car and fired at a 21-year-old woman on a porch on the 500 block of F Street. The shot missed, and the woman ran inside.
