8:50 a few more but it seems to be done. 12 bars left out of 36. I live in an area that does not cater to the candy seeking kiddies. There were 4 houses on my 3 block long street giving out candy
oh wait got hit by a mob. 3 milky ways left and we are done. Good year for sure.
Many “whoaaaa full size” heard a few times. Now do not pull my flowers out or throw eggs at my house 
$20 spent very well I hope.
8:06 just got hit by a professional gang. Mummy, lady bug, skeleton, and some grunge kids. I am down to about 12 bars now. Not sure if we will have any left.
My first “thanks” from the lady bug. She rules.

Put the leashes on the dogs to keep them controllable. Thunks loves chasing the leashes. Fuggles got out back in her shirt and pissed all over it. So we got her a new shirt.

I decided to load up the black light and some light rope. More chalk arrows and CANDY in big letters. just in case. Parental unit responded to my Q “you think the black light is as good as a bright porch light?”
“ya…………… lights” Not sure if English is his main language.

Fuggles has been domesticacated. She seems really fine with it. It is only a large shirt and fits really well. Me thinks she will be rocking shirts more often.

Thunks is rocking the Old Russian Lady look. We tried to get a shirt from a teddy bear on him, but it was too small. Theresa got one of her smallest shirts on him, but he wiggled out of it.
Fuggles is wearing a scarf and is a bit too riled up at the moment for her boxers and shirt. I will get it on her though. Maggie is too old for this crap.
Good treats this year. Full size bars. Only filling the pan with two of each kind for now.
I was really anxious to try this place, so we hit it last night after some shopping. It is quite a small place, but the decor is really nice. The kitchen is right out in full view just behind the bar. They did not have tap beer last night, but the lines and taps are currently being installed.
They are under the same ownership as 9 street chargrill and I noticed many similarities. Circular bacon, them seasoned waffle fries, loaded baked potatoes, and sammich selection. We were not terribly hungry and decided to split a burger and some mozzarella sticks.
The service was stallar as well as the presentation on the moz sticks. Using a 4 oz rocks glass for the sauce was a nice touch. Our server was also cooking on the line and making drinks.
I hate to be a negative nancy when covering a local food place. I know that they offer some really good stuff at both locations, but we ordered some stuff I should of known would not be too unique. The moz sticks are the same ones we get from sams, but I doubt a single place in town makes their own. A burger is just a burger, but I was thinking they would rock the burger. I am pretty sure it was a bought patty and not made there. it was not the highest quality beef and there was a fuel taste to the burger. It was not bad at all, but did not wow me too much. I figured the fries were from sysco at both locations, but they are still really good. I saw the bag they came from. The onion rings at both places are awesome and I figured they were home made, but I saw the box they came from. And it clicked in my head that parkway lanes uses the same. Oh well still good.
When we got home we watched some kitchen nightmares and saw a place that just used sysco type products and Gordon freaked. he made the place have special home made burgers and people absolutely praised how good they were. The burger was 1/2 pound at Billy Browns and it did not get finished between the both of us. BB’s could kick some major arse if they did something like that.
Both places offer really good food and you can get some really good and unique options if you choose them. i will make sure to choose those items and not just a burger next time.
Lincoln Parks and Recreation officials announced today that the Mopac Trail between 33rd and 35th streets will close for about two weeks (weather permitting) beginning Monday, Nov. 3, for reconstruction of an existing retaining wall.
The aging retaining wall is failing and has been deemed hazardous. The wall will be removed and a new wall built in its place.
That wall was scary and I think I heard about people hitting the bricks on the path. I have seen them on the path a few times.

Last year was fun. I live blogged it. Will prob do it again this year. We heading out to sams tonight to get some full sized bars. My plan is to fight fuggles to get some clothes on her again. Theresa is going to see what she can do to the cat. I should be good and intoxy by 7PM.
My plan is to keep the spawn happy with the big bars so they do not vandalise my house. It is well worth the $
Theresa is more of a sausage girl when it comes to breakfast. She likes farmland pork and bacon brand sausages. I wnted to see if I could come close to them. Got some sheep casings from the 27th and pine lake super saver and some bacon ends and pieces. Ground a pound of bacon and added it to a pound of boston pork butt I had frozen. Some black pepper, cayenne, and paprika to season. Fried up a patty and it was close, but still far away. Pulled out the tender quick which I was scared to use and added some brown sugar. The cure in the tender quick made a huge difference. Stuffed it up, froze them, and peeled off the casing.
They came out pretty darn close. Theresa liked them and said more salt, fat, and sugar would make them even closer to the farmland brand. I wuv her
