KittyThunkle got his nuts cut and a chip

It is done and he is resting. We can pick him up after work. I am kinda hoping he gets a cone cuz they are so funny, but we will take special care of him till he heals. Fuggles, you need to play nice for a week OK?
We have never chipped a pet before. Fuggles needs a heartworm check and we will get her chipped as well. Maggie is a grumpy old fart and does not wonder off too often so we might pass on her. Can you feel it under their skin?

I don’t feel my dog Amelie’s chip or my cat Brutus’ chip. although i’m sure if you knew exactly where it was and what to feel for you might notice it.

Ditto, boxer Zoey has one but I can’t feel it. It’s in her neck on top somewhere.

Ditto, on not being able to feel the chip. Nana’s got hers, but I still make her wear her tags… Since she runs the building halls and hangs on the communal porch EVERY DAY when I get home from work.
Your pic reminds me of how funny Nana was with her lampshade collar. I just propped her little food bowl at an angle, and she did fine. Watching her walk/run was more hilarious… She was a BOBBLE-HEAD!

I was hoping for a cone. Vet said cats do not do that well with them.
I cannot feel the chip either
He is walking with a swagger and his nether region looks strange. I bet growing more will even things out.
He had a major breakthrough last night. He can finally make it up on the counter. Huge leap from the plant stand and slides into the backsplash. Tonight he made the jump from the ground.
He likes to jump up and balance on the edge of our 39 gallon trashcan and see if it is worth jumping in or not.
