I am still bewildered by the effort involved in this project, and how little 2 bags of rye grass seed covers. I headed back to ACE to get two more bags of rye grass and some generic seed grass to get that lawn kicking. The straw was itchy to put down, but it will keep the dogs from dragging in all that dew covered fresh dirt in like they did this morning.
My arms hurt.

i did this to my yard last fall - tilling and all. it SUCKED, and was totally worth it! but somehow even with the grass, my dog manages to track dirt all over the house.
