my shuffle arrived :)

First pic that came up when I google imaged shuffle
It is a second gen, 2GB, purple sucker. Thing is tiny. I tried to get it to work in linux. Linux said the database was not happy. Had to load up itunes on the XP partition to get some tunes on there. This is pretty easy cuz a 2nd hard drive I keep all my stuff on is fat32 so both OS’s can see it.
Sniffed around on the internets and found this handy tool: iPod shuffle Database Builder From what I hear it works pretty darn good.

man u behind times!!! bought a 80gig before they dropped in price
but still MAN i got enough room for all my music PLUS MOVIES hehehehehe I got like 80 gigs of dvds converted to ipod resolution (mp4 480×720) or somthing like that
if any one wants a list i be happy to post it and share em

I have a nano, but do not like having to navigate with the screen. With the shuffle I can feel the buttons and it is so tiny. Riding a bike, doing yard work, it is perfect for me.

I’ve got a hot pink Shuffle that I underuse (now that it’s getting nice I’m going to try jogging more) and it’s a neat little device (and one of four iPods I own.)
