A bit of wilderness trail repair is gonna be going on this weekend. Sure you could go to the star city parade, or play in the dirt. My truck is gonna be the work horse this time.

Maggie is a mermaid.

Fuggles looks so serious in that pic. Maggie is a burrower, she always has pillows all around her and loves blankies. I wrapped her up a bit and she slept so happy. Little oven she is.

Wow this was a pain. So we both took Monday off for reasons. Theresa was dealing with Fuggles at the vet, and I had some plumbing work to do.

Ya see I left the hose hooked up last year and our house being 107 years did not like that much. It froze and blew out the connection. I was able to close the water faucet good, I thought. Well for the past 8 months it has slowly been dripping and making a huge mess.

So chopped out the ceiling to see what I was up against. Oh man. After looking I decided to just cap it off and we can bring the hose from the front into the back if needed. Only two trips to the hardware store, where I saw my boss. “well I took the day off cuz a plumbing project has gone south and we need to use the restroom” While pointing to my soaked left side and dirty hands, it was all good. Pipe capped, wood drying, hole in the ceiling of a room we never use, oh well. Very happy.

When it comes to cookies Theresa kicks butt, but she got nuttin on the cookie company. Like the one in the mall, you just smell it and drool. I hit the one downtown at 12th and P. Oatmeal scotchies are fricking awesome. Well down at Ideal I saw they had the dough frozen and picked up a tub.

$5.99 seemed steep, but I knew I could add more scotchies and make an uber cookie. And make an uber cookie I did.

Man they expanded a bunch more than I thought they would. The extra scotchies make it awesome, but it tastes exactly the same. Surprised that sour cream is in there, but do not care they ruled. I used 1/2 the tub and got 6 huge cookies. It really was a deal.

We have made a bunch of food at home. It started with hamburger helper and other prepared crap. Well we have evolved and we can make our own hamburger helper. We have made this a few times, but I have never captured the steps. It is more of a casserole the way we make it. We get three meals out of this and it rules. It is nothing more than an adaptation of our mac and cheese.

Picked this up friday. I had heard good reviews, but still could not really grasp how it was played. Just imagine you are playing in an MC Escher painting and can jump to other micro world which have a bit of gravity. Theresa is kicking some butt at it. Once again the controls are what makes it so fun. Takes a while to get used to walking upside down.

EDIT: I just gotta say this is the funnest game I have ever played. Uniqueness is what does it. Plus the thing looks beautiful. THe changes in gameplay and all the little strange moves you can do with the controller is awesome.

We are both loving this game and can’t wait to beat it. For sure it is one you can play and play over and over.
