The man trying to keep Theresa down

Auditor thinks state should consider running its own Web site
So Theresa works for NIC as a developer (computer programmer) and Mr Foley does not like that it is not done by a company in NE. Since I work for the Legislature I really cannot have an opinion on Mr Foley. Although he reminds me of Santorum often.
Still NIC does an amazing job and I hobe Theresa does not have to worry about her future with them.
The comments on the story make me smile though.

Now that the heavy lifting has been done Foley thinks the job looks pretty easy. Little does he know.
They should let private business keep the contract.

Heavy lifting for sure. Transferring all these programs to another agency is a huge headache.
Security, knowledge, and quality of work are worth the cost. NIC is in 13 states and does an amazing job. They are not out to make huge profits and take advantage of states coffers. When it comes down to it sometimes outsourcing is beneficial, but the office is here in Nebraska providing jobs, It is not farmed out to another state like Foley makes it seem.
