Just wanna make it clear that most of the foods we make that I share with ya are a bit over the top. Yup we have a very American diet, but it is not all bacon and cream based foods. We have been making some really good fruit salads lately. Usually around 4 different fruits and enough to fill three tupperware collapsible containers. It all gets eaten. Nice when you got the munchies but are not really hungry. A bit less guilt. Fruit goes really well with bacon though

Basic burger with provolone cheese, portobella mushrooms, and uber bacon (more below). Some crappy corn and T’s bruchetta went very nice with a Heineken.

The pic is pointed south, weeds do darn good in the kennel of doom. Garage one one side, a fence on the other. Maybe 5 feet across. No trees to block the sun. Would I get enough sun to have a vegetable garden there?

So my buddy sent me this pic of some shrimp he made. Tiger shrimp wrapped in bacon, bbq’d with a lemon teriyaki sauce, and some fontina cheese. makes me wanna lick the screen.

Tonight I am gonna do even more yard work, then we gonna make some killer burgers. I have that awesome bacon from T’s dad, a left over portobella, and will pick up some decent cheese at the store tonight. Theresa wants to make some BLT’s tomorrow, I plan on making some sort of melt with a touch of bacon. Stay tuned.

Well, it sounds like bus riders who’d like to tote their two-wheeled rides with them may not have that chance for a while.

Glenn Knust, the maintenance superintendent for StarTran, said he doesn’t expect bicycle hitches to be added anytime soon.

Why? Money and space.

Because the bike racks add about a foot and a half to each bus, they would no longer fit in the garage, he said. Their estimated $2,500 cost — multiplied by 60 buses — is also an unresolved issue.

So I check my email this morning and statcounter says they are giving away 5X more free stats. I had paid $9 a month to get 1,000 page loads worth of stats till they goofed and forgot to bill me for a year, then wanted the $ back. I decided to go back to the free version which as of yesterday was 100 page loads, now it is 500.

I also use adsense and one built into wordpress, but it is still a very nice service, and for free.

but he is just like any normal blogger on the internets.

see them two dots in the water. That be Maggie and Fuggles. I use a tennis racket to get the ball way out there. This would be Fuggles second time at Oak lake. She is faster than Maggie who used to be the best. They smell funny. I got Fuggles out on a run along the salt creek levee trail to wear her out a bit before we went to the lake.

on the left is Franks smokehouse it was really smoky smelling, but looked really faty and not very smoke colored. It did not shrink like most brine solution filled bacon, but ended up looking about the same. Skillet on medium like normal. It was really thin so it was really crisp. Decent bacon, but nothing about it impressed me.

I just have a thing for doggies in clothes, it is so funny. So Fuggles has been a little bitch when it comes to letting me mess with her. I got a good scratch when she was much younger, trying to fit her in some boxers.

Well last night we were watching some Heroes (made it to episode 16 so far) and fuggles was passed out on my bed. All groggy I was able to get the shirt on her and she looked so pathetic. As you can see I failed to get the boxers all the way on. She gets squirmy. Although I got a bunch of pics and then felt sorry for her and took it off. Replacing with a nice hankie.
