T’s dad brought over some pleasant farms shoulder bacon. It is really smokey and pretty meaty. The meaty part was so tender and the fat came off pretty easy. It is not exactly bacon, but the flavor could not be beat.

yup, farmers market. I picked some of their regulare bacon last week, and did know they had shoulder bacon. Still have not tried the regular bacon.
They make killer beef jerky too.

I swear I’ve seen their sign at the farmers market on the back of a pickup. I dont think I’ve ever bought anything from them. Next weekend I’ll have to give them a try, I’m hungry now!
