RIP Cloe our little girl

Doctor said it was the worst he had ever seen. The spleen was huge, she was filled with old blood. he worked his butt off for almost 4 hours. Said he had no clue how she was still alive, toughest little dog he had ever seen. That would be Cloe.
We are going to pick her up and take her to the overnight doggie hospital, then pick her up in the morning and take her back to the vet.
Tough little bitch.
Then we got the call. She went into cardiac arrest, they did all they could do.
Gonna miss her. Got 9 awesome years with her, and for that we feel blessed.

thanks for the well wishes yall.
this was a really hard one. My first dog, I picked her, she was very special.
this hit us really hard. I have only lost my grandparents, this is the biggest blow I have ever had. (this was unexpected)
gonna take a bunch of singletrack to make me feel good.
Taking 1/2 a day off to go ride and deal with the vet.
Maggie gonna have to learn to cuddle more and she will get a friend here soon.

I’m really sorry about your dog Steve, brought tears to my eyes just reading your post…, I have a black lab who’s nine, picked her out by myself, gave the guy 75 bucks and it’ll be the best 75 bucks I ever spend. I can only imagine, shit..hang in there bro.
