A person with ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, for he or she has a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed.

If only it didn’t include France and Britain…by doing so, it lost credibility. I dig the point that weapons manufacturers carry influence within our government…if their weapons are never used, then they have no incentive for growth. They NEED war to increase market share. And growth, after all, is what capitalism is all about. Makes me think of evil pharmaceutical companies. They NEED illness to increase market share. Sell more, sell more, sell more! Who cares what the end result is. It’s unsustainable. I think I’ll drink some beer. Peace.
